The Jitterbug Social 2019
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
THANK YOU!
I am still filled with the good dancing vibes from our dance party on Saturday.
We raised $45,000 to help keep seniors across Canada dancing and connected to others - something I know we can all agree is more important than ever.
Our event was a financial success, but, more importantly, it was a success in that we were able to collectively experience the pure joy of dancing together, even while we are apart.
Through the whole event I was teary with gratitude to everyone who participated and supported us from the sidelines. It takes a village, and the DWP village rocks!
Thank you to our sponsors, speakers, performers, supporters, instructors, volunteers, our incredible MC, and, most of all, to our seniors who dance with us each day.
We have great things in store for DWP - your support has made it possible for us to have an even bigger impact, and for more seniors across the country to stay connected through dance.
My most heartfelt thank you on behalf of myself and the DWP Board,
Sarah Robichaud
Let's keep this party going!
